Welcome to my world of storytelling and creativity! I'm Mahsa Emami, a passionate writer, filmmaker, and artist with a deep-rooted love for the art of visual storytelling. My journey began in the heart of Iran, and it has taken me on a captivating odyssey to the vibrant city of Vancouver.
From a very young age, I found solace and excitement in the written word and the magic of film. My fascination with storytelling was ignited during my formative years, and I embarked on a path that would ultimately define my life's purpose. The thrill of crafting stories and scripts became my true calling.
To hone my craft, I pursued a Bachelor of Cinema at Tehran University of Art, where I delved into the intricate world of film production. This academic journey allowed me to cultivate my storytelling skills and explore the limitless possibilities of the cinematic medium.
Today, I find myself in the breathtaking landscapes of Vancouver, where I am continuing my educational voyage with a Bachelor of Media Arts at Emily Carr University of Art + Design. Here, I am continually inspired by the city's rich cultural tapestry and the thriving arts community.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of wearing many hats in the world of filmmaking. As a director, I've had the opportunity to bring my creative visions to life on the screen. As a writer, I've woven narratives that delve deep into the human experience. My role as a script supervisor ensures the cohesion of every scene, and as a cinematographer and camera assistant, I've framed the visual poetry of countless moments. Finally, my skills as an editor allow me to meticulously craft the final masterpiece.
