A Different Way to Learn Filmmaking
The GODS ON EARTH Summer Short Film Program is an independent filmmaking initiative created for artists, storytellers, and aspiring filmmakers who want to explore cinema through experimentation, collaboration, and creation.
Across 12 sessions throughout the summer, participants develop ideas, engage in film discussions and screenings, receive feedback, collaborate with others, and work toward creating an original short film for a final public screening in September.
We believe filmmaking is learned through the experience of making films. Rather than focusing on technical perfection, the program encourages creative risk-taking, personal voice, and discovering new ways of seeing and making cinema within an intimate and supportive environment.
